York Business Owner, Barry Strine Awarded For Achievements

Barry Strine, President of Strine’s Heating & A/C has been awarded the 2019 Mack Smith Award from the York Builders Association (YBA). This award is part of the PEAK Achievement Awards, presented annually by YBA. The Mack Smith Award recognizes an individualÂ’s commitment to the goals and objectives of the Association and their contribution to the Association, the profession, and their community.

Consumers in York County, along with industry professionals from across Pennsylvania have spoken and the York Builders Association is pleased to announce the 2019 PEAK Achievement Award winners. These awards recognize excellence in all aspects of the building industry, from building, remodeling, and outdoor projects to design, marketing and service to the community.  Winners were honored at the 2019 PEAK Achievement Awards Banquet on May 9 at the Out Door Country Club in York.

The demand for workers in the construction trades continues to grow, and the York Builders Association (YBA) is committed to spreading awareness about the tremendous career opportunities available locally through events like Construction Career Days. The second annual event took place over several days and included five host companies and nine area high schools. Approximately 80 students participated.

The 51st Annual York Builders Association (YBA) Home & Garden Show will return to the York Expo Arena at the York Fairgrounds February 8 – 10, 2019. The Home & Garden Show provides inspiration for home improvement projects of all kinds and gives area residents an opportunity to see and learn about the latest indoor and outdoor home and garden products and services from over 150 experts under one roof.
