The York Builders Association recently announced that Melissa Longenberger has been promoted to Vice President of Member Relations.
In her prior role as Director of Membership, Longenberger was responsible for recruitment and retention of association members, as well as programs, events, and initiatives designed to benefit members. In her six years in the role, she has had a major impact on the association. Some of her key achievements include helping to drive membership, growing YBA to its current position as the second-largest builders association in the state. Longenberger also lead the initiative for WorkforceNOW®, a program designed to raise awareness about career opportunities in the skilled trades.
“Melissa has done an excellent job of helping to strengthen our association through membership growth, said YBA Executive Vice President Laurie Lourie. “She is committed to finding new and creative ways to deliver value to our members and their employees and she is passionate about rallying support for WorkforceNOW programs like Construction Career Days.”
In her new role, Longenberger will serve as the designated back up to the Executive Vice President, identify new opportunities for creating member programs that drive revenue for the membership and continue to implement strategies and programs that increase the YBA’s value proposition to its members.
