The York Builders Association (YBA), the York County PA community’s resource for the home building & remodeling industry, today announced the installation of Michael Lohss, Jr. of Regal, Inc. as the 2023 President. Lohss will serve as President of the YBA Board of Directors for a term of one year. Â
Tina Wilderman has been hired as the York Builders Association’s (YBA) Director of Member Services. YBA is a membership-based not-for-profit trade association focused on the residential building industry with approximately 370 member companies.
The YBA Workforce NOW Foundation, a York County-based nonprofit launched earlier this year and focused on developing the next generation of skilled trade professionals, has named Melissa Longenberger as Executive Director.

This award is part of the PEAK Achievement Awards, presented annually by YBA. The Mack Smith Award recognizes an individual’s commitment to the goals and objectives of the Association and their contribution to the Association, the profession, and their community.
Consumers in York County, along with industry professionals from across Pennsylvania have spoken and the York Builders Association is pleased to announce the 2021 PEAK Achievement Award winners. These awards recognize excellence in all aspects of the building industry, from building, remodeling, and outdoor projects to design marketing, and service to the community. Winners were honored at the 2021 PEAK Achievement Awards Banquet on September 16 at Wyndridge Farm in Dallastown.

The York Builders Association recently announced that a fundraiser held at the 2021 York Home & Garden Show raised $8,300 for the YBA WorkforceNOW program. YBA member company TC Backer Construction, LLC donated materials and built all items for the silent auction.
