York Builders Association Members Volunteer To Construct A Sensory Room At The Children’s Home Of York
York Builders Association (YBA) members worked together to complete a volunteer project at the Children’s Home of York (CHOY). The project involved constructing a Snoezelen multi-sensory room. Snoezelen (is a Registered name) is a combination of two Dutch words that means “to explore” and “to relax.”

YBA Workforce NOW® Foundation Kicks Off 2022-2023 Construction Pre-Apprenticeship Program
The YBA Workforce NOW® Foundation, an operating foundation, and a subsidiary of the York Builders Association, recently launched a Construction Pre-Apprenticeship program in partnership with the York County Alliance for Learning – YCAL. 27 high school seniors from 11 local school districts are participating in the 2022-2023 program.

The York Builders Association (YBA) recently awarded two scholarships to high school seniors through their Trade & Tool Scholarships. The scholarships were presented to high school seniors entering a trade school or entering the building trades workforce.
