Regarding priorities for the coming year, Addressing the lack of workers in the skilled trades is a key objective for the Association moving forward, said Cardello. We recently launched our WorkforceNOW brand that will focus on increasing awareness of career opportunities and providing resources for students, parents, employer organizations, teachers and schools. I am committed to building support for workforce initiatives and educating anyone who will listen about how deeply the lack of a skilled workforce impacts our communities.
Im really looking forward to this coming year and having an opportunity to engage with our members, legislators, and other community partners to increase awareness on issues of importance, continue to strengthen our association, and build a better future for our industry, noted Cardello.
