The PEAK Awards recognizes excellence in all aspects of the building industry, from financial services and construction to community service and marketing designs. The PEAK Awards are one of the area’s highest distinctions, with winners selected from leading building-industry peers across the state.
Each year, a few popular categories are selected for inclusion in the People’s Choice Awards – allowing the public to vote online and determine the winners.

The York Builders Association (YBA) People’s Choice Awards recognize the outstanding work of local builders, remodelers, and contractors in the home building and remodeling industry in York County, Pennsylvania. As an extension of the YBA’s commitment to supporting its members and fostering consumer engagement, these awards offer a unique opportunity for public participation in celebrating outstanding achievements.
What are the People’s Choice Awards?
Unlike the broader PEAK Achievement Awards, which cover many facets of the industry and are judged by experts and peers statewide, the People’s Choice Awards focus on a select few categories. These categories typically include popular segments such as kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling, new home building, and interior design.
What sets the People’s Choice Awards apart is that they allow the public to have a direct say in determining the winners. This gives community members a chance to recognize and celebrate the exceptional work of local builders, remodelers, and contractors.
Voting for the People’s Choice Awards occurs online and is open to the public for a period of around two weeks. The People’s Choice Awards winners are officially announced and honored at the annual PEAK Achievement Awards banquet.
For YBA members, winning a People’s Choice Award represents a harmonious blend of community involvement, industry recognition, and celebration of excellence!
