The York Builders Association (YBA) recently announced its 2020 PEAK Achievement Award winners. These awards recognize excellence in all aspects of the building industry, from building, remodeling, commercial and outdoor projects to design, marketing, and more.
“When York County consumers want to find award-winning professionals for their building, remodeling or outdoor project needs, we are their resource,” says Laurie Lourie, Executive Vice President for the York Builders Association. “Our members set high standards of quality, value, and client satisfaction for themselves and they consistently deliver. We are delighted to be able to celebrate and share their work through this program each year.”
Industry experts from across the state of PA judge the projects. The annual awards program also has a public element whereby local building & remodeling projects are voted on by the public via an online contest. The 2020 People’s Choice Contest was sponsored by PeoplesBank Mortgage and was promoted on Facebook, targeting consumers in York County. Winners were selected by receiving the most votes in their category.
An awards banquet is typically held in May each year. This year’s event was postponed until July and held as an outdoor program at Shady Lane to ensure that social distancing and CDC guidelines were upheld. Myers Building Product Specialists was the Presenting Sponsor.
