The York Builders Association recently launched its first-ever Virtual Parade of Homes, featuring seven local new & remodeled projects. The Virtual Parade of Homes features videos of each project highlighting the project itself, the builder or remodeler, and in some cases, even the homeowner. This virtual event is presented by Traditions Mortgage, a division of York Traditions Bank.
The event includes virtual tours, interviews, photos, information on services and more, that require no in-person visits or travel. The website, yorkvirtualparadeofhomes.com will be available through 2021 at no cost to the viewer.
For nearly three decades, the York Builders Association and its members have been hosting the traditional York Parade of Homes. “The Parade of Homes has been a tradition for our members, and the community for so many years,” said YBA Executive Vice President Laurie Lourie. “We had several amazing projects lined up for 2020, and it was important that we find a way to keep the tradition alive and highlight the great work that our members are doing locally. Since the pandemic, people are prioritizing their living spaces more than ever, so bringing the latest home design trends and project inspiration to the audience virtually made perfect sense.”
“The video component provides the additional benefit of really getting to know the builders and remodelers,” said Lourie. “It’s like a one-on-one conversation with the team that planned, built, and brought the projects to life.”
