Senate Agrees on Coronavirus Package

After much negotiation, Senators and the White House have reached an agreement on a $2 trillion stimulus package designed to help individual workers, small businesses and hospitals that have been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

Summary of provisions include:

  • Direct payments of $1,200 for most individuals making up to $75K
  • Payments of $2,400 for couples making up to $150K w/ additional $500/child
  • Expanded unemployment benefits
  • $367 billion in loans for small businesses
  • $150 billion for state and local governments
  • $130 billion for hospitals
