Dover contractor and owner of Start-Living Homes Larry Mellott was recently recognized for his extraordinary service & long-term commitment to the home building industry as a life director. 2018 marks Mellotts 10 years of directorship at both the local and state levels, designating him as a life director.
A native of York County, Larry has been active in the building industry for over 40 years. He served as President of the York Builders Association in 2008, served as a Director for the National Association of Home Builders, the YBAs Government Affairs Committee and in 2017 was appointed to hold the Residential Remodelers seat on the Uniform Construction Code (UCC) Review and Advisory Council (RAC).
Larrys hobbies include racing sports cars and rebuilding British roadsters. He has written several books on auto racing.
