The York Builders Association is delighted to announce that Haley Miller has been promoted to Events Coordinator. In her new role, Miller will handle all aspects and phases of YBA event planning and coordination.
Miller joined YBA as a part-time Office & Program Coordinator in August of 2019. In December of 2019, she graduated from Millersville University with a B.S. degree in Communications and a concentration in Public Relations and became a full-time YBA employee. In her starting role, Miller supported services to members, handled referrals, billing & receiving and coordinated the logistics for the York Home & Garden Show.
“When we hired Haley, we knew she was interested in event management so it was always our hope that she would grow into a role where she would have an opportunity to do work that she truly enjoys”, said YBA Executive Vice President, Laurie Lourie. “She jumped at the opportunity to take an active role in the Home & Garden Show and she did such an excellent job that we knew a role focused on events was the right fit, both for Haley and for our Association.”
Some of the key events that Miller will be responsible for include the York Home & Garden Show, YBA’s PEAK Achievement Awards, the Parade of Homes, Golf Tournament, Annual Clay Shoot & others.
