The York Builders Association teamed up with Hively Landscapes and ForSight Vision to raise funds for the non-profit organization during the Association’s annual Home & Garden Show.

We could not have asked for a better day for our 33rd annual golf outing. With beautiful blue skies, a record number of golfers and a great team of volunteers and staff, we welcomed a great day of golf.

A local grandmother whose grandson is confined to a wheelchair because of a rare disease reached out to the York Builders Association when her existing ramp and walk-way began falling apart. The deteriorating ramp and narrow sidewalk made it almost impossible for the young boy’s nurses to transport him to school and for medical care.

Earlier this spring the Membership Committee launched a month long membership drive and we could not be more proud to announce that we have successfully gained 30 new members and still have several potential members in hand.

On Friday May 8, 2015 thirty employees of Hively Landscapes volunteered their Day of Service to benefit the Alexander D. Goode elementary school in York city.

The staff and board would like to extend a special thank you to Architectural Doors & Hardware for donating their time and materials for some building maintenance work at the York Builders Association.

The 32nd Annual York Builders Association Golf Outing was an amazing time. The day was filled with beautiful weather, delicious food, and of course some golf playing! A big thanks goes out to the members of the Golf Committee:

Thank you to Jeff Henry of Jeffrey L. Henry Building and Remodeling for Sponsoring the York Revolutions Political Action Committee Fundraiser last week. Everyone was impressed with the spread of food and the game-day atmosphere- including our local legislators – and we had a great time cheering on the Home team.

Thank you to Jarvis Green who worked under a tight deadline to get our YBA Mobile Site ready to showcase our Parade of Homes event, which will include “Check in & Win” promo pages, mapping and People’s Choice Rating for Paraders with smart phones, on the go.

The York Builders Association would like to welcome its new members for June and July!

The YBA would like to send special thank you to the past Presidents that gave their time to help with the 50th Anniversary Gala that is coming up on November 22, 2014. The afternoon was filled with sharing stories, looking through years and years of pictures and articles, and discussing important times that stood out in YBA’s history. It was good day!

Thank you to Resource York for picking up some of our remnants from the eCycle Event that couldn’t be recycled. Laurie was busy sorting all of our events and promotional materials in the garage, and we had lots of things to move out of the way.
