The Remodelors™ Council is a recognized leader in the professional
remodeling industry. It was formed to meet the needs of York Builders
members involved in remodeling, one of the fastest-growing areas of
the building industry. Membership in the council represents commitment

customer service.

The Remodelors™ Council sponsors the following events:
CGR - Certified Graduate Remodeler is an exclusive professional designation
designed to emphasize business management skills as the key to a professional
remodeling operation.
CGA - Certificate Graduate Associate is a professional designation
for associate members aimed at gaining a greater understanding of
the home building business, construction process, and industry issues.
CAPS - Certified Aging-in-Place Specialists designation program teaches
the technical, business management, and customer service skills essential
to competing in the fastest growing segment of the residential remodeling
industry - home modifications for aging in place.
York Builders Remodelors™ Council is affiliated with the National
Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Remodelors™ Council
Annual membership dues are $55, which includes membership in the NAHB's
Remodelors™ Council.
Meetings are held at various times thoughout the year to meet the
needs of many diverse schedules. Meetings consist of networking time
and a speaker providing information on industry and business related

Community Service
YWCA's Camp Cann-Edi-On
The Council provided long over due renovations to the camp. Roofs
were replaced on the lodges and several out buildings. Siding was
replaced on the lodge along with the installation of new gutters and
down spouts. Interior and exterior doors were replaced. The interior
of the lodge and dining hall was repainted. New bathroom accessories
were installed. New screens were installed in the dining hall.
Members of the Council donated nearly half a million dollars in materials
and labor to remodel, restore, and renovate the camp. In addition,
the Council directed York County School of Technology students working
on the project.

*CADRE,
which stands for Council Awards for Demonstrating Remodeling Excellence,
is the highest, most prestigious award a local council can receive
on a national level.
